Dispute Resolution
Dispute Resolution Centre
Alternative dispute resolution is the option available to all consumers to contact official bodies that can help resolve or provide guidance on any conflict, before initiating legal proceedings in Court.
Customers defined as consumers under Law 144/2015 who have entered into purchase and/or service agreements are entitled to contact official bodies for assistance in resolving any dispute arising from such agreements, without prejudice to their right to seek recourse through the Courts. The updated list of Alternative Dispute Resolution entities available under Article 17 of Law No. 144/2015 of 8 September is published on the Consumer Portal, accessible at www.consumidor.pt. For further information, please also refer to Law 144/2015.
We also inform you that for disputes arising from online purchases, you may use the EU's online resolution system known as the "ODR Platform – Online Dispute Resolution". This platform is accessible at: Online Dispute Resolution
