INNOVATING IN AUTHENTICITY

PGA seeks the authenticity of the aromas, flavours and textures of the finest sparkling and still wines from the Bairrada region.

Pedro Guilherme Andrade, born in Anadia in the Bairrada region, grew up in a family of small-scale wine producers, which sparked his passion for viticulture from an early age. Holding a degree in Agronomic Engineering and a specialisation in Oenology, he has worked in the sector since the 1990s, contributing to the modernisation of the region's wines while preserving its traditions. In the late 2000s, he began producing independently on the family estate, launching the PGA brand — initially focused on classically styled sparkling wines with contemporary touches. Today, he has expanded into still wines, maintaining the balance between tradition and modern techniques.

THE TERROIR

The vineyards that give rise to PGA wines, located in Vale de Boi, Anadia, date back to the late 19th century.
